The coolest iPhone features

Every year Apple invites its selected developers and media contacts to an event to unveil the newest features of iPhone. There’s quite a lot to get excited, about the coolest and newest features of iPhone OS, especially for the gadget geeks. Have a look at the 4 features that has been added to the iPhone OS this year.

  1. Multitasking: Multitasking was a highly requested functionality by most of the iPhone users. Though the processing power and battery life is put to risk with multitasking, Apple has successfully achieved this hot request without putting strain on performance. This is done by preventing an application to run fully in the background but letting it keep a particular service running. You just have to double tap the home button which will raise a virtual “dock” where you can see all the applications that are running. You will be able to switch between them.
  2. Folders: If you are such a user who has a huge number of applications scattered throughout the home screen, there is good news for you. The new iPhone has this added feature of creating folders by just dragging and dropping the applications, one over another. The folder will take a default name on its own depending on the applications that you are dropping.
  3. Improved mailing features: Mail is one of the applications which are used mostly by the iPhone users. This new feature makes the mailing system more unique and unified. There is a support for multiple exchange accounts, the ability to organize the messages in a single thread and ability to open attachments depending on particular applications. These enhancements will perhaps prove to be the most useful among iPhone users.
  4. iBooks: This feature is not a major surprise, but Apple is bringing the iBooks application to the iPhone. This allows you to keep your reading in sync across both your iPhone and iPad. All books will work with all devices and your current position within the book or bookmarks will also be kept in sync.

So, what do you think about these cool iPhone features? Aren’t they great features to use? Don’t wait any longer. Grab your new iPhone and enjoy the benefits of these added enhancements.
