I-O Data is back by bringing you their latest portable DVD write called the DVRP-U8E. Measuring just 20mm thick, this slim portable drive features a USB 2.0 interface and provides write speeds of up to 8x for DVD+/-R, 6x for DVD+/-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/RW. In addition, the drive also comes bundled with Nero Express Essentials software. Available in both white and black color options, the I-O Data DVRP-U8E sells for 7,900 Yen (about $87).
Cisco has recently released the FlipShare TV that is designed to transmit video signals between a computer and a TV.
The package includes a USB key to attach to a computer and a small receiver box to receive video signals to a TV.
The USB dongle is claimed to provide a maximum range of up to 200 feet. Both HDMI and RCA connectors are also available for connecting the box to a standard TV or an HDTV.
