gadgets, a Bluetooth-based alarm system has been designed by a firm in Edinburgh. The virtual device, called Nio, is merely of the size of a keyring, which buzzes whenever your gadget gets a certain distance away. The nio uses new software that has been designed to link with your existing Bluetooth enabled mobile phones and PDAs. The device is currently available at Bluenio.

With modern technology going wireless, we have a remote for almost all our gadgets, from the kitchen to living space in our homes, messing up life with the clutter of undue devices. Offering a way out, designer John Brumbaugh has come up with a universal remote control called the Peel that employing the state of the art technology controls all your gadgets with a mere 21 buttons.

Claimed to be the world’s first Bluetooth-integrated universal remote, the Peel also touts an ergonomic design, together with intuitive button layout, allowing easy controls to the users. Removing the dead spots of conventional infrared controllers, the new universal remote makes use of orientation response to control all your devices. All you need to do is just turn the Peel over on its back to turn off the devices in use.

Here comes a clock that has a pinhole camera lives in it. This spy camera clock is able to record video at 740×480 resolution and 30fps in AVI format. The built-in battery allows it to stay alive for up to two hours to record every movement of you. And it has built-in memory of 4GB that can store a fair amount of video.

The entire clock measures 4.3cm x 4.6cm x 1.8cm, the recorded footage can be transferred to a computer via the USB port. It’s available at Brando, carrying a price tag of $47.

Sony PS3 Slim, a revamp of its conventional PS3 game console, has brought massive rises in sales. And now Sony is rolling a new 250GB version of the PS3 Slim, which comes with a 250GB hard disk drive.

The existing PS3 Slim comes with a 120GB HDD. The new PS3 slim will bundle a game and of course the 250GB that gives more than double of storage capacity. The game to be included is the Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Edition which is worth about $460.
